This time last year...

One year ago this date, Edgar and I were getting ready to board a plane and start our journey to China...to, finally, become parents. And what a day it was. It felt like FOREVER to get to China. But once we landed... oh, what a feeling it was.

We spent 3 wonderful days in Beijing... touring and visiting all the amazing places. Hearing all about their rich culture. Meeting all the other wonderful families, that traveled with us. It was truly 3 wonderful, amazing days!!

We can't wait to go back!!!!!!

I just can't believe that we traveled one year ago today...

4 sweet little words...

I was rocking Crystina to sleep tonight and I heard the most sweet, precious 4 words that came out of her mouth...EVER!! This is how it happened...

me: I love you, Crystina.
Crystina: I ove you, mama.

It just came from her. Ahhhhh, how sweet.

And yes, I intentionally left out the "l" in love because that's the way it sounds when she says it. ; )

Not much going on. We went to Aquatica this past Saturday...we actually had a big group, there was 25 of us. And we had a blast! I am burnt...Crystina is a little red but mostly she tanned. And Edgar is also a little red, but also he mostly tans. And Ethan...he chilled all day, he enjoyed the lazy river so much, he feel asleep! It was SO funny! And later on in the day, Crystina did the same thing....going around in that pool, just made her so sleepy. Can't wait to go again!

Crystina's one year anniversary of our "Gotcha" is coming up and I can't believe it's coming up so quickly. I just can't believe one year ago now, we were getting ready to travel to China. WOW...how time flies!

Last night we went out to Chili's for dinner with Willie, Jessica and all 6 of their kids. We had such a good time. There was a guy there that made balloon art and he was going around to all the tables...he spent a good 20 minutes with us. Here are some of his talents that he did for us...

11 months ago today...

11 months ago today, Crystina was placed in our arms. I can't believe it's been almost a year that we traveled to China to pick up our baby girl! How time just flies by! This time last year we were trying to get everything that we needed to travel. Nerves were going crazy but we were just SO excited.

Crystina surprises me everyday with what she has learned to say. Lately, she likes to ask me "Mama, what doing?" In other words, she's asking me what am I doing? Also, I am "mama" and Edgar, sometimes, is "mama-daddy". It is just SO funny, because at times, I don't know if she's calling me or her daddy, OR both of us, at the same time. ; )

Today...

Well, it's almost been one year since our "Gotcha Day" and I am looking so forward to it, I don't know why but I just can't wait.
